At 55buy Nigeria (developed by Limtechy Labs), we respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. In compliance with Google Play Store policies and data protection regulations, we provide clear pathways for our users to request the permanent deletion of their accounts and all associated non-regulatory data.

How to Request Deletion

1Via Mobile App

Log in to the 55buy app, navigate to Settings or Profile, and select "Delete Account". Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your request.

2Via Web Dashboard

Access your account at 55buy.ng, go to Profile Settings, and use the Account Deletion tool found at the bottom of the page.

Direct Email Request

If you cannot access your account, send an email from your registered email address tosupport@55buy.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Our support team will process your request within 48-72 hours.

Data Retention & Deletion Policy

Data We Delete Permanently

  • Full Name and Profile Information
  • Email Address and login credentials
  • Phone Number and contact preferences
  • Wallet Balance (Note: Balances must be withdrawn before deletion)
  • Marketing preferences and saved beneficiaries

Data We Retain

Under Nigerian financial regulations and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws, 55buy is required to retain transaction logs and basic identity metadata for a minimum period of **7 years**. This data is archived and encrypted, removed from all active marketing or operational systems, and is only accessible for legal or regulatory audits.

Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, you will lose access to your remaining wallet balance, transaction history, and any referral bonuses earned. Please ensure your balance is zero before requesting deletion.
